Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course
This intensive 8-week course, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), was created by Jon Kabat-Zinn for UMASS Medical School in 1979.

Through this evidence-based approach, you will develop mindfulness and meditation practices to help you adjust your relationship with stress, anxiety, and pain. It’s time to step into a more resilient future.

Eight Weekly Classes:

Silent Retreat:

What is included in the course?
The course is highly experiential; each week will include the following:

Guided meditation practices

Mindful yoga/movement

Small and large group exercises and discussions in the safe space of a supportive atmosphere

Daily home practices

All-day retreat
These home practices are essential to the course, and you should expect to spend up to an hour a day practicing what you have learned in the class. Guided audio meditations will be provided throughout the course to support you in your independent practice.
